摘要
近代以降,西物东渐,舶来器物深刻地改变了中国人的生活方式。以往研究多聚焦于器物接受者的反应,对器物所导引的社会变动未有深入探究。自行车最迟至1868年已传入中国,以自行车为生计的社会群体经历了从无到有、不断发展壮大的过程。论文试将视线投射到散布在近代上海城市街道上的各类自行车行,解读这一随着西物传入衍生的社会群体的发展历程及其生存状态。
The bicycles were introduced into China at the latest in 1868, and the social group that lives on bicycle-related services underwent a process of emergence and development. This paper tries to study different kinds of bicycle shops scattered in streets of Shanghai and interpreted the development and living status of the social group that came into being with the introduction of things from the west.
