The new standard GB/T 25799-2010 ＂Glossary of textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries＂ was introduced, including the main contents and the principle, i.e. scientific nature and simplicity. The importance to the textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries industry and its innovation were evaluated objectively, which em- bodied the innovation, development and originality. The definition of new technology embodied the internation- alization and scientific nature, which closely combined the technology of the developing industry. The supple- ment of synonym was easy to understand.
