中国唐盛时期的丰肥浓丽是那个时代的标记,如今清秀苗条成为时尚。有不少年轻女生甚至追求"去性别化",不仅要瘦,甚至要"骨感美"。然而故意和过度地降低体质量,可以导致严重营养不良和极度衰竭,影响身心健康和发育,甚至危及生命。神经性厌食(anorexia nervosa,AN)是一种病因尚未完全清楚的疾病,目前认为是生物、心理和社会因素的综合影响。几年前,中国的精神科医生还只是听说过这个疾病名称,不过现在已经不时地接待来就诊的神经性厌食患者。中国还没有神经性厌食的流行病学报告。作为全科医生,可能会遇到这类患者。怎么诊断和管理这类患者呢?澳大利亚的全科医学专家与大家共同分享一个案例并讨论合理的管理策略。
It was fashionable for women to be full-figured in Tang Dynasty(618-907 AD).However plump is no longer in vogue in contemporary China,especially for girls.They are in pursuit of slim,even 'skinny beauty'.However,deliberate excessive weight loss can cause severe malnutrition,metabolic and hormonal disorders.Causes of anorexia nervosa are not fully understood.A range of biological,psychological,environmental and social factors are associated with the problem.Not long ago,Chinese doctors and psychiatrists had only just heard of the term Anorexia whilest now some patients actively are seeking help,according to researchers of Peking University Mental Health Centre.Unfortunately,detailed epidemiological data about this illness is not yet available in China.As a community doctor,it is likely that you will come across some patients who are experiencing anorexia nervosa in your clinic.How would you go about diagnosing and managing the condition?
