摘要
根据行波SOA的四波混频效应,讨论了不同参数条件下的慢光时延特性。采用SOA分段模型,定量分析了光时延量与偏置电流、频率失谐、泵浦光功率的关系,以及泵浦光功率、载流子寿命的改变对工作带宽的影响。结果表明:可以通过调节频率失谐、偏置电流等参数对光时延量进行控制,增加泵浦光功率或抑制载流子寿命均可提高工作带宽。
According to four-wave mixing (FWM) effect of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA), the thesis discusses the time delay characteristics of slow light under different parameter conditions.By applying SOA segment model,the research quantitatively simulates the numerical relations between the delay of slow light and bias current, frequency detuning, as well as pump power. Besides, the research analyzes the influence of the transformation of input pump power and carrier spontaneous radiative lifetime on the operating bandwidth of slow light.The result of the simulation indicates that the delay of slow light can be controlled by adjusting such parameters as frequency detuning, bias current and pump power. Both increasing the pump power and in- hibiting the carrier lifetime are able to improve the operating bandwidth.
