摘要
信息载体有两种,即自然信息载体和人工信息载体(符号);自然信息载体包括征候、植物信号和动物信号;符号包括语言符号和非语言符号。自然信息载体,是一种没有经过人的理智加工而自然呈现的信息载体;它不是意义的载体,不具有意指功能。非语言符号是指主体特意制造和使用的能够独立表达一定信息的那些不属于语言符号的符号;根据其能指的性质不同,可分为人体声音能指类、体态表情能指类等十多个子类;较之语言符号,它具有能指形式的多样性、形象直观性和易解性、结构和组合规则的简单性、整体上的非任意性,以及能指与所指结合的对称性和欠强制性等特性;在交际中,具有替代功能和辅助功能。
There are two kinds of information carriers, one is natural and the other is artificial（symbols）. Natural ones include symptom, botanical signals and animal signals, and symbols include language symbols and non-language symbols. The natural in- formation carrier is a kind of original information carrier without any artificial changes from human intelligence; neither is it a car- rier of any definition, nor it has signified-meaning. Non-language symbol is the symbol which is created, processed and used with clear purposes to express some certain definitions independently and it doesnt belong to language symbols. According to its differ- ent natures in signified-meanings, it can be divided into 10 or more subclass, such as signifier of body and sound and body lan- guage, etc. Compared with language symbols, it is more varied in signified-meanings, directly-viewed and easily understood, simple in construction and combination, arbitrariness as a whole and the symmetry and shortcoming in obligatory between signifier and signified while substitutable and assistant in communication.
