摘要
顺治年间汤若望在获得钦天监管理权后,通过控制钦天监中层领导权,笼络钦天监内中下层人员的人心,同时加紧督促钦天监众人学习西法,经过漫长的过程才确立了西法在钦天监的主体地位。汤若望对回回科采取的打击压制措施,则导致了吴明炫对西法的攻击。
Having obtained the right of managing the Royal Astronomical Observatory,Johann Adam Schall von Bell established the dominant position of the Western calendar in the Qing Astro-calendric Bureau by taking over the leadership,winning over the support of the staffs and urged them to learn the Western calendar.All this took a very long time.Schall suppressed the development of Huihui Calendar which led to the attack of the Western calendar by Wu Mingxuan.
