摘要
我国著名语言学家王德春先生通过多年研究提出并论证了"科学分类的无限性"原理。该原理对语言学研究有着多种启示,具体来说,语言学发展的永恒性特征和方法论意义。方法论意义有如下表现:一方面,语言学研究者不应存有门户之见,轻视相关学科;另一方面,语言学研究者一定要有自己的主见,要能认清形势,认识到自己的长处和不足,切不要盲目跟风;同时,语言学者应该多角度研究语言。只有这样,语言学研究者才有望为语言学发展做出突出贡献。
Based on his years＇ research Professor Wang Dechun, the well-known Chinese linguist, put forward the principle that the classification of sciences is characteristic of infinity. As for linguistic research, many implications may be elicited from the aforesaid principle. Generally the implications are as follows： The eternity of linguistic development and the significance of methodology. As regards the latter, on the one hand, linguists should not harbor sectarian bias by showing contempt to related disciplines. On the other hand, linguists ought to have his/her own ideas rather than blindly follow suit. Meanwhile, linguists should study languages from multiple perspectives. On in the way is it possible for linguists to make great contributions to the science of language.
