佛罗里达州是位于美国东部南端的半岛,维持了良好的自然风貌,其园林景观设计的主要模式是"林地-草坪-水体"。佛罗里达在风景和园林建设中强调自然资源与环境保护功能,倡导建设佛罗里达友好型景观,形成有佛罗里达自然和文化特色的热带、亚热带景观。
Florida state, located in the southeastern region of United States, is a peninsula between the Gulf Mexico and Atlantics with tropical and subtropical ocean climate. Coast and beaches, forest and lawn, waters, city and resident garden constitute Florida＇s landscapes. Natural landscapes have been conserved as possible, which featured the most important the charateristics of state＇s landscapes. Forest-Lawn-Waters is a basic combination model for most garden landscapes in Florida. The conservation of natural resources and environment function are stressed in the planning, design and construction of gardens and landscapes. The idea of Florida-friendly landscaping is proposed and encouraged as to construct unique tropical and subtropical landscape featuring Florida.
