摘要
《大公报》是唯一一份历经百年仍在出版的中文报纸,也是唯一一份获得国际荣誉的中文报纸。它具有浓厚的自由主义色彩,开创了中国民营报刊自由主义的先河。它坚持以"四不原则"为办报思想,有独立的报格,坚持中国文人论政的传统,站在中立的立场评论中外时事。
Dagong Daily is the only Chinese-language newspaper that still in publishing after a century long and the only one that a Chinese-language newspaper gains an international reputa- tion. This privately-owned newspaper has a strong feature of liberalism, and it has created a precedent for the liberalism of privately-owned newspapers. Dagong Daily, adhering to its guiding thought, the Four Noes Principle, has an independent reporting ethics. It has inherited the politics-participating tradition of Chinese literati and commented on domestic and foreign af- fairs neutrally.
