"性"是儒家哲学的核心概念。牟宗三以天论性,确立了儒家道德形上学的超越本体;即心说性,奠定了儒家道德形上学的内在根据;贯通性与天道,沟通主客,打通天人,完成了儒家道德形上学的哲学重构。牟宗三对儒家道德形上学的诠释,为儒家思想的现代转型开创了一条生生不息之途。
"Nature" is one of core concepts of Confucian philosophy. Mou Zongsan, who defined "Nature" by "Heaven", established transcendental noumenon of the Confucian moral metaphysics; He, who defined "Nature" by "Heart", laid an inner basis of the Con-fucian moral metaphysics; He, who communicated subject and object, got through Heaven and Man by transfixion of "Nature and Heavenly Tao", completed the philosophical reconstruction of Confucian moral metaphysics. Mou Zongsan's interpretation of the Confucian moral metaphysics, opened a path for the modem transformation of Confucian thought.
