摘要
基于等离子体状态下的离子通道电子回旋脉泽 (ICECM)能够产生宽带高功率微波辐射 ,是一个新的可调谐同步辐射源研究方案。本文报告了该系统自发辐射的电磁频谱特性。借助相对论电子注的电磁辐射理论 ,初步展示了脉泽频谱的基本规律。研究结果表明 ,该系统的辐射带宽可近似为 3γ2 /3 ωk/ 2 ,ωk 是辐射功率最高的谐波频率。这一结果与文中的数值计算相符。本文深入研究离子通道对回旋电子注聚焦的新机理。文中报告的频谱特性不仅对开展相关的实验研究有重要意义 ,而且对天体等离子电磁辐射也是一个新的研究线索。
Ion Channel Electron Cyclotron Maser (ICECM) is an advanced new scheme to generate tunable coherent radiation with frequency ranging from microwave to x rays.The electromagnetic spectrum characteristics of ICECM has been reported.Making use of the Relativistic Electron Beam (REB) electromagnetic emission theory,the electromagnetic spectrum characte ristics in ICECM is obtained under resonant condition.It is found that a wide freguency band,approximately 3γ 2/3 ω r/2 is covered in ICECM,where ω k is the harmonic frequency with peak output power,and it accords with the present numerical calculation.For the ion focused regime,the reported frequency spectrum characteristics of ICECM not only have an important meaning for advancing the experimental studies of microwave amplification,but also may be a new clue for the study of astro plasma radiation.
