摘要
以钛酸丁酯和硝酸亚铈为实验原料,采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了Ce掺杂的TiO2纳米粒子,并利用XRD、DRS、TEM、BET等测试技术对样品进行了表征,且以高压汞灯为光源,甲基橙水溶液的脱色为模型反应,考察了Ce掺杂对纳米TiO2光催化活性的影响.结果表明:Ce掺杂能提高纳米TiO2的光催化活性,有效抑制TiO2纳米粒子的生长和在高温下的相变,增大其比表面积,并使TiO2纳米粒子的光谱响应范围拓展到可见光区,当掺杂Ce的物质的量分数为0.5%时,TiO2纳米粒子的光催化活性达到最佳.
Ce-doped TiO2 nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel process using the Ti(OBu)4 and Ce (NO3)3· 6H2 O as the main raw materials, then the prepared samples were characterized by XRD.DRS. TEM and BET techniques, and then the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange in aqueous solution was chosen as a model reaction to investigate the effect of Ce-doping on photocatalytic activity of nano- TiO2 irradiated by high-pressure mercury lamp. The results show that Ce-doping could improve the photocatalytic activity of nano-TiO2, effectively restrain the growth and phase transformation under high temperature of TiO2 nanoparticles, increase the specific surface area, and extend the spectrum response range of TiO2 nanoparticles to the visible region, and when Ce dopant quantity is 0.5%(in mole), the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanoparticles would reach the best state.
