摘要
随着科技发展，资源的短缺，人类活动空间的扩展，海洋已成为各国关注争夺的焦点，海洋局势日益紧张。海洋地质学是研究地壳被海水淹没部分的物质组成、地质构造和演化规律的学科，它的研究内容十分广泛，包括海岸与海底地形、海洋沉积物、洋底岩石、海底构造、大洋地质历史和海底矿产资源等多方面。因此，海洋地质学对海域疆界的划定具有指导意义，其复杂的海底地质地理环境，在航海、军事及海底工程中均有重要的现实意义，甚至可以成为海洋环境武器加以利用。
Because of development of science ＆ technology, lack of resources, and expansion of human activity, the ocean has been getting the focus in the world. The situation on the sea is increasingly tense. Marine geology can provide references to maritime borders as its research in- cludes coast ＆ submarine topography, sediments, rocks, tectonics, geological history and mineral resources. The geography and marine environment have the effect on navigation, military operation and engineering in practice, and even can be using as marine environmental weapons.
