生物学哲学上语境论科学方法论应用的一个领域——生物学定律存在吗

An Area in Which Contextualism as Scientific Methodology Is Applied in Philosophy of Biology——Are There Biological Laws?

摘要 借用数学语境中的同语反复、物理学语境中的随附发生、化学语境中的本质主义观点对存不存在生物学定律进行了综合考量。语境论科学方法论的意义正是在于:认识生物学定律存不存在的问题,当且仅当在与生物学相邻的数学、物理学、化学学科语境中对各自学科的定律进行根植于某些哲学观点的考查,而且这些哲学观点在形式与本质上具有横断的可比较性。 By using tautology in the context of mathematics, supervenience in the context of physics and essentialism in the context of chemistry, the author comprehensively examines whether there are biological laws. The significance of contextualism as scientific methodology is that:We can understand whether biological laws exist if and only if in the context of such adjacent disciplines of biology as mathematics ,physics and chemistry when we make an investi- gation into the laws of our respective disciplines according to some philosophical views which are transversely com- parable in their form and nature.
