摘要
周作人研究存在的主要问题,是对周氏在北京沦陷时期思想演变与心理内容的复杂性关注不够,零碎片面的事实考辨取代了心理活动的整合,以致将这个时期的周作人当作道德僵尸进行居高临下冷面无情的解剖。周作人研究遭遇瓶颈,并非周氏吞吐曲折的文风或泛滥无归的"杂学"所致,而是来自研究者心境的不自由。《北京苦住庵记》显示了木山英雄理解的"阅读周作人的自由心境",乃是将周的悲剧放在真实的历史舞台考量,明白怎样的历史合力将他推向道德深渊,因此不必让他独自承担所有罪责。"失败主义式的抵抗"原是木山英雄描述附逆之前周作人的心态,但也可以扩张为刻画周作人"作家之相"的画龙点睛之笔。
The main problem in our research on Zhou Zuoren is that we can not focus on the complicacy of Zhou's thought during the period of Japan occupation. We are so interesting in inquiring into fragmentary facts not in sorting out his thought that we have been used to take a moral height to anatomize cruelly him as a ethical corpse. The bottleneck we met is not Zhou's individual style or his erudition but the deficiency of freedom in our own thought. In his book Beijing Kuzhuan Ji (《北京苦住庵记》) Professor Kiyama Hideo tell us that the back to the true historical stage to understand how freedom in reading Zhou Zuoren is placing Zhou the multiple power put Zhou into the ethic abyss and why Zhou can't assume all of the responsibility by himself. " Resistance of failure" is originally the description which Kiyama Hideo made about Zhou's state of mind before his collaboration to Japanese invader but we can take it as a finishing touch of our own description about Zhou's imagine as a writer.
