本文简述了部分西方发达国家和我国单兵防弹装备的沿革及现状，着重讨论了超高强度纤维在单兵防弹装备发展中的作用，指出了单兵防弹装备的发展趋势。
The article introduce evolution and present situation of some developed country and our single-soldier bulletproof equipment Its emphases is application of the super high- tenacity fiber in development of single-soldier bulletproof equipment, and indicate it's trend.
