美国提升与埃及和伊拉克外交关系早在罗斯福时期就已经酝酿。主导中东既是美国领导世界的必然要求,也是美国提升与中东阿拉伯国家外交关系的根本原因;战后中东阿拉伯世界的呼声与现实要求,使美国提升与中东的外交关系成为可能;英国在二战后的实力不济也为美国人提供了更多的外交机遇;中东的战略位置和丰富的油气资源是驱动美国提升与中东外交关系的直接因素。
The United States has been brewing to enhance its diplomatic relations with Egypt and Iraq as early as the Roosevelt era.To marginalize the old colonial powers,most typically-the United Kingdom,and make significant progress to lead the Middle East,are not only the necessary requirements for the United States to lead the world,but also the underlying causes why the U.S.enhance it＇s diplomatic relations with the Middle East and Arab countries;The voices of the Middle East and the Arab world after the war,and the practical demands,are the direct cause s why the United States takes this diplomatic action;Britain＇s weaken strength after World War II provided opportunities for the America.The increasingly polarized world has profound influence on American foreign policy tendency.
