摘要
针对目前一些高校图书馆过刊不外借的落伍做法,阐述了网络环境下过刊外借的必要性和可行性,以广东海洋大学海滨校区图书馆过刊外借的成功经验为例,证明过刊外借是提高期刊利用率、实现期刊价值的唯一途径。
Aimed at the behindhand practice of journals management in some academic libraries,the necessity and feasibility of lending the back issues were elaborated.Taking the success＇s practice in haibin library of Guangdong Ocean University as example,it was proved that the only way to improve the utilization rate of journals and realize the value of journals was lending the back issues.
