摘要
在中国中古文学思想发展史上,初唐阶段具有某种承前启后的意义。这是因为初唐文学思想对六朝绮靡文风并非只是简单的批判,而是一种在总结前人正反两方面经验教训基础上的辩证否定。对于魏晋以来的文学思想来说,初唐可以算是一个阶段的结束;而对于整个唐代文学思想,它又可以比之为一个短暂的前奏,一个后来文学思想据以出发的起点。所谓初唐史家、诗家理论主张与其创作实践的矛盾,其实正是这种处在新旧变化之间的文学观念的反映。
In the historical course of Chinese literary thoughts, early Tang period stands as a peak. The reason is that the literary thoughts during this period is not only the condemnation of the decadent literary style prevailing in the Six Dynasties (256AD- 589AD), but also a dialectical negation (aufheben) based on the lessons drawn from the predecessors' literary practice, either positive or negative. As to the literary thoughts during the period ahead, the early Tang can be viewed as an end of it. As to the literary thoughts of the Tang period as a whole, however, it can also be viewed as an instant prelude or a starting point.
