摘要
供应商管理库存是一种先进的供应链库存管理模式,它需要企业结合自身条件和外部供应环境进行运用。本文在介绍供应商管理库存的定义、作用和实施过程的基础上,结合无锡低压电器有限公司实施VMI的实例,分析供应商管理库存的特点和涉及的问题,有利于企业减少库存,降低企业成本,提高企业的核心竞争力。
VMI is an advanced supply chain inventory management method that needs the enterprise to apply it with its own conditions and external supply business environment.This paper introduces the definition,role and implementation of vendor managed inventory.Based on example of Wuxi low voltage electrical Co.,Ltd,the paper analyses the characteristics and issues related to VMI that will help related enterprises to reduce inventory level and costs,and improve the core competitiveness of enterprises.
