The article introduces the definition of suggesting speed and discusses the setting range of speed limit sign.It also points out its application value and significance from per-spectives of increase design speed,decreasing construction cost,increasing road passing rate,avoiding speed trap and irrational fine,improving road management skill,reducing traffic accident,energy saving and environmental protection.
