摘要
外周血中能够分化为血管内皮细胞的前体细胞称为内皮祖细胞。新近研究提示,内皮祖细胞在众多肿瘤中参与新生血管的形成,从而促进肿瘤细胞的生长和转移;同时,其与肿瘤的分级、分期、预后也存在一定的相关性。本文就内皮祖细胞在肿瘤新生血管形成中的作用机制进行综述。
Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) exist in peripheral blood and can differentiate into endothelial cells. Recent researches indicate that EPCs are involved in the neovascularization of several tumors and promote the growth and metastasis of these tumors. Meanwhile, EPC levels are correlated with the grade, stage, and overall survival of tumor patients. This article is focused on the roles of endothelial progenitor cells in tumor neovascularization.
