杜牧卒年大致有三种说法 :大中六年说、大中七年说和大中十一年说 ,前二说皆误 ,后说尚有可能 ,但仍需考证材料。
There are generally three versions of the year of Du Mu's death, that is, Tang Dazhong sixth year version, Tang Dazhong seventh year version, and Tang Dazhong eleventh year version, of which the former two are false, while the third is possible but still needs research for evidence.
