摘要
模块化多电平变流器(Modular Multilevel Converter,简称MMC)子模块电容电压的均衡是其稳定运行的前提,在此介绍了MMC的拓扑结构,分析了其运行原理,提出了一种基于子模块电容电压瞬时值排序和桥臂电流方向的简化均压策略。该策略上、下桥臂仅各需一个载波,而与子模块数无关。仿真和实验结果验证了所提均压策略的有效性。
The voltage-balance is crucial for the stability of modular multilevel conveter(MMC).The main circuit structure of MMC is given.The operation principle is analyzed.According to instantaneous capacitor voltages and the bridge current direction,this paper presents a simple solution to solve the voltage-balancing of MMC.With the proposed method, only one carried wave is required for a bridge consisted of arbitrary submodules.The validity of the proposed method is verified by simulation and experiment.
