通过对《本草经集注》《备急千金要方》《汉书》《孙子算经》等古籍原文的研究,以及对梧桐子的体积考察,认为1方寸匕的容量为2.5毫升。
The one inch square spoon＇ s capacity turns out to be 2.5 milliliter. It was not only confirmed by the original text of Variorum of Shennong＇ s Classic of Herbology, Essential Treasured Prescriptions for Emergencies, History of the Han Dynasty and Sun Tzu＇ s Calculation Classic, but also by the volume of the seed of Chinese phoenix tree.
