摘要
《补墙》是弗罗斯特以新英格兰农村为背景的一首短诗,"以快乐开始,以智慧结束"是对弗罗斯特诗歌最好的诠释。在人类遭受各种生态危机的大背景下,用生态的目光重新审视此诗,就会发现诗中无不渗透着生态智慧,寄托了诗人对自然、社会和人类精神的生态关怀。这是对人类与自然、社会和自身关系的提喻,更是对处于生态困境中人类的警醒。弗罗斯特是在修补破损的石墙,更是在修补现代社会中业已出现裂隙的人类的心灵。
Mending Wall is a short poem by Robert Frost,set in New England rural landscape.The best summary of his poetry is ＂Begins in delight and ends in wisdom.＂ Against the general background in which human beings are suffering from all kinds of ecological crises,re-reading of this poem with an ecological view will detect the ecological wisdom embodied between the lines.The poet shows great concern for nature,human society and spirit,which is a synecdoche of the relationships between man and nature,man and society,man and self;which is further an alarm for human beings in ecological dilemma.Frost is mending a wall,what＇s more,he is mending the gaps in modern man＇s psyche.
