摘要
近几年来，各电力企业积极开发建设GIS应用，建设成果显著，已经有一批实用性好，技含量高的GIS应用系统。GIS技术适合电力企业这种区域分布广、管理层次多、设备及线路复杂的行业，GIS在电力行业有广大的应用发展空间。通过GIS平台建设，推动了电力输配供电系统的数字化建设，加快了电力行业产业改造和技术管理的改革。GIS将是“数字电力”极好的应用工具与公共系统平台，通过GIS应用，提升电力行业信息化水平。
