摘要
ＩＰｖ６被称为新一代的面向２１世纪的互联网协议，各国都积极参与全球的ＩＰｖ６活动。该文首先阐述了ＩＰｖ６协议及其背景，接着分析了全球的新一代互联网协议发展现状和正在进行的ＩＰｖ６有关的各个活动，最后介绍了目前在中国以 ＣＥＲＮＥＴ为代表正在开展的ＩＰｖ６研究。
IPv6 - the internet Protocol for 21 Century and its background is introduced firstly in this paper, and then the world wide IPv6 related progress and some IPv6 activities such as Ngtrans, 6BONE and 6REN are analyzed, finally, CERNET IPv6 testned - the only representative in China is presented as well.
