摘要
Objective:To compare the antihypertensive effects of amlodipine (AM) and benazepril (BE) in essential hypertensive (EH) patients with increased β 2 microglobulin (β 2 MG),and evaluate the effect of these drugs on the renal function.Method:Eighty minor to moderate EH patients with increased β 2 MG were selected.According to a random, single blind self controlled trail, patients received either AM 5~10 mg once daily or BE 10~20 mg once daily, each monotherapy for 4 weeks.Clinical blood pressure (CBP),ambulatory blood pressure (ABP),blood urine nitrogen, serum creatinine, uric acid,β 2 MG,and urine excretion of β 2 MG and albumin were measured at the end of 1 week placebo and after 4 week therapy, respectively.Result:CBP was significantly reduced with the use of both drugs (P< 0.01 ).However,ABP showed that once daily therapies with AM provided an antihypertensive effect that was superior to BE,though the tough to peak ratios of SBP and DBP for both drugs were more than 50%.Urine excretion of β 2 MG and albumin were decreased in BE group (P< 0.05 ).AM had no effect on the parameters in renal function. Conclusion:Antihypertensive action with AM is superior to BE,while BE is better in EH patients with renal impairment. Key words Hypertension Benazepril Amlodipine β 2
