摘要
文章在广泛调研的基础上，通过对西部地区地方文献资源数字化的作用进行分析，阐述了西部地区地方文献资源数字化建设的必要性和可行性，提出了地方文献资源数字化的建设方案，探讨了西部少数民族地方文献资源数字化的方法和途径。
The paper analyses the effects of document resource digitization in the western areas based on extensive survey, and states document resource digitization development＇s necessity and feasibility in the western areas, and researches into methods and approaches of document resource digitization of the western minority nationality parts.
