摘要
中共湖南省委在真理标准问题讨论中的表现具有典型意义,经历了从观望等待、被动补课再到积极参与的过程。讨论开始阶段,观望等待,是表态最晚的省委之一;三中全会后进行讨论补课时,省委被动跟进,以致抓得不够有力,再次失去了清理"左"的思想的良好机会;1980年12月以后,省委积极争取中央帮助,以贯彻中央《湖南工作座谈会纪要》为契机,自觉运用真理标准检讨历史,终于从被动走向主动。
The CPC Hunan Provincial Committee had a typical performance during the discussion of the criterion for testing truth： taking a wait-and-see attitude at first, then passively doing remedial work and finally actively participating in the discussion. At the beginning, it stood on the sidelines, being one of the provincial Party committees that were the latest to make public their stand. When doing remedial work for the discussion of the criterion for testing truth following the Third Plenary Session of the CPC Eleventh Central Committee, the Hunan Provincial Committee was forced to tag along and did not approach the work with vigor and resolve, thus losing again a good opportunity to clean up the ＂Left＂ ideas. After December 1980, the Provincial Committee actively sought help from the central authorities and, taking the implementation of the Summary of the Forum on Work in Hunan issued by the CPC Central Committee as a turning point, conscientiously used the criterion for testing truth to review the history, thus regaining the initiative at last.
