摘要
竞技体育比赛以生命风采的展示为核心,因而最容易获得不同文化、不同地域的人们的心理共鸣,从而使它成为传播城市形象的重要途径和良好载体。对于举办比赛的城市来说,一方面要深刻认识城市形象作为复杂系统的本质特征,另一方面又要注意在建设美好的城市环境硬件设施的同时,充分运用科学的传播手段,通过对体育比赛的充分保障、艺术设计及文艺活动的精心安排,以及遵循跨文化传播的基本要求,从而最大限度地实现城市形象的有效传播。
With its core of presenting life' s elegant demeanour, competitive sports could easily resolve an emotional consonance among people from different cultures and places. Therefore it becomes an important channel to promote a city' s image. Host cities have to, on one hand, understand the nature of city image as a complicated system; and to improve, on the other hand, the environmental infrastructure of better cities. What is more, they should follow the basic requirements of culture communication to achieve most effective promotion of city image through scientific communication strategies, best sports programs, elaborate art design and cultural events plans.
