The α-particle transfer reaction has been taken as a main method of investigating the α-cluster structure in nuclei. In the theoretical analysis of this kind of reactions the bound α-cluster wave function has played an essential role. Usually it is generated in a Woods-Saxon well with the depth adjusted to reproducing the empirical α-core separation energy. This wave function is expressed
