摘要
以陕西秦陵出土的一、二号铜车马为主要研究对象，从农业、手工业和科学技术发展等方面论述了秦代机械工程发展的原因与水平，提出了秦陵铜车马在古代机械工程方面实现了古代青铜器由“静态”到“动态”，车辆由木制到金属制造的两个重大突破的观点。
This paper investigates the reasons for the development of mechanical engineering in Qin Dynasty from the aspects of economy,industry, science and technology. Based on the Bronze Chariots and Horses from Qinshihuang's Tomb,the paper also inquires into the development level of ancient mechanical engineering in China,and point out that the transformation from statics into dynamics and from wooden structure into metal structure is the two important breakthroughs in mechanical engineering.
