摘要
从理论上分析了双层膜孤立垂直磁化MR头的读出过程。结果发现,若采用双层膜垂直磁记录介质与MR头相耦合使用,则可实现比单层膜垂直磁化介质记录更高的记录道密度。这有利于提高记录面密度。
According to the calculation from theoretical and experimental investigations,thereadback voltage of a MR head of the single-layer medium for perpendicular magnetic record-ing will be 1~2m V if 5 000~6 000 TPI of track density and 50~100 kbPI of bit density canbe realized.However,should the track density be further increased,the readback voltagewould be sharply decreased.To remedy such a situation,a perpendicular magnetic recordingsystem of the double-layer medium with a MR readout head is proposed. The readback pro-cess of isolated perpendicular magnctization by the double-layer medium with a MR head isdiscussed with the image method. In the calculation,the effect of the self-demagnetizingfield in the medium is neglected.Calculation results show that the readback voltage is higherwith the double-layer medium than that with the single-layer medium. Higher readout volt-age is favorable to further increase of the track density.
