摘要
本文分析了空间应用分析模型与现有地理信息系统(GIS)耦合时出现的问题,认为开放性不够、表达能力不足、重组合能力差及无有效的开发工具是现有GIS的缺陷。借助现代计算机操作系统理论和技术的新进展,利用客户/服务器模型,结合数据库管理系统(DBMS)将GIS设计成操作系统的基本扩展。这样设计的GIS称为核心地理信息系统(CoreGIS)。CoreGIS由内核、应用程序设计接口(API)、开发工具、操作环境和空间应用分析模型构成。CoreGIS内核由四大类服务器构成。CoreGISAPI是内核功能服务的标准调用接口。其它构成部分建立在这两者之上。CoreGIS可以比较彻底地解决困绕空间应用分析模型与GIS耦合的问题。为GIS高速发展奠定基础。
The problems of integrating spatial analytical models with Geographical Information Systems (GIS)are discussed in this paper. The low degree of openness, insufficient capabilities of presenting of the real world,inseparable usage of GIS functions, and lack of efficient application development tools are the main shortages of current commercial GISs.Referring to the new advances of current computer operating systems, based on the database management system (DBMS) and client/server model, GIS is redesigned as the basic extension of the computer operating system. This new designed GIS is called CoreGIS. CoreGIS are composed of CoreGIS core, CoreGIS Application Programming Interface (API), CoreGIS development tool, CoreGIS operating environment, and spatial analytical models. The core of CoreGIS consists of four categories of servers.CoreGIS API is the standard interface of CoreGIS core. Other components of CoreGIS are built on the former two components. CoreGIS may overcome the obstacles of integrating spatial analytical models with GIS, and help accelerate the GIS development.
