Dedolomitization studied in this area occurs in outcrop as light gray bedded, mottled or massive fine mediam crystalline dolomitic limestone, accompanying with secondary vugs and paleokarst cave.The dedolomitized calcite had the below characteristics: a) anhedral with clean surface and residual precursor dolomite crystals;b)no luminescence under cathode ray;c) δ 13 C for -1.03‰~+2.6‰,δ 18 O for -12.7‰~-13.09‰,Na +96.5×10 -6 (average) and Sr 2+ 125.3×10 -6 (average).Combining with the regional structural and diagenetic evolution,it was concluded that the dedolomitization was formed by the influx of 13 C and 18 O depleted but high Ca 2+ /Mg 2+ meteoric water under the controlling of the fault associated fractures. Dissolution accompanying with the dedolomitazation improved the reservoir quality of previous rocks.
