Monostatic RCS Analysis of Complex Objects with Shaped Surface

摘要 This paper presents a new modeling method for a general curved surface and a more efficient scattering model to account for the scattering contribution of complex targets with shaped external surface. Before RCS analysis, the actual external surface is divided into facets with different shapes. The calculation for scattering field of a single facet is based on PO PTD (Physical optics Physical theory of diffraction) model and the whole scattering field of the target can be obtained by phase synthesis. A calculation example is given to verify the validity of both the model and the modeling method. Time dependence e jwt is suppressed throughout this paper.
