摘要
作为中国大陆现代新儒学研究的主帅之一 ,方克立在文化哲学研究上的贡献主要表现在 :对现代新儒学和现代新儒家及其代表人物、发展历程进行了拓荒性研究 ,通过宏观审视和个案研究相结合的方法较为系统地阐释了现代新儒家文化哲学的贡献与缺失 ,批评了“西体中用”论的文化观 ,推进了对传统与现代化、民族性与时代性的辩证思考 ,从而就中国文化发展的方向、方针、方法问题发表了一系列真知灼见 ,创造性地继承和发展了马克思主义文化哲学学派的“综合创新”
As one of the main figures doing research on modern Confucianism in the mainland of China, Fang Keli has made his contributions to the study of the cultural philosophy in the following aspects: he has done the pioneer research on modern Confucianism as well as the development of modern Confucianists and the representatives. By gradually examining and studying the specific cases, he explains systematically the contributions and shortcomings of the new modern Confucian cultural philosophy. He criticizes the cultural viewpoint of totally adopting western culture in China, thus further encourages the thinking on the issues of tradition and modernization, nationalism and the spirit of the era. And thereafter he offers a series of valuable ideas about the developing direction, policy and methods for Chinese culture, thus creatively inherits and develops the culture outlook of “comprehensive innovation” of the Marxist and Leninist philosophy.
