微波功率模块(MPM)是上世纪末提出的一种全新的电子器件,是RF功率放大技术的重大突破。介绍了MPM概念的产生过程和基本组成,以及它的发展历程和最新进展,分析了MPM的优良性能和实现的技术难点,并展望了未来MPM的发展和应用前景。
Microwave Power Module (MPM) is a new concept device that appeared at the end of last century. It is one of the most significant advances in RF power amplifier technology. This paper introduces the concept of MPM and the basic components of it. The advantages of MPM and the difficulties to realize it are analyzed. The evolution of the development and the latest advance are presented. At last the development and applications of MPM in the future are prospected.
