摘要
对固体钛盐进行酯化反应。在固体硫酸钛和硫酸铈酯化反应中,乙酸与乙二醇单甲醚酯化反应过程中生成的水受到Ti4+的诱导作用, 使催化剂表面产生较强的B酸中心,因此反应具有较高的催化活性。这是因为金属离子有Sanderson电负性(X1),由于Ti4+的电负性大于 Ce4+,由此硫酸钛催化剂产生B酸的酸强度大于硫酸铈,这是硫酸钛催化活性高于硫酸铈的主要原因。
To explore the catalysts for glycol monomethyl-ether esterification, the properties of sulfate catalysts were examined. The results indicate that the catalysts, especially rare earth Ti (SO4)2 and Ce(SO4)2, have higher activities than that of the other ones. The water produced in the esterification could be induced by Ti4+ , which makes the catalyst surface to form strong B acid. This can be explained according to the Sanderson electro-negativity ( XI) of metal ion. Since Ti4+ ( XI) > Ce4+ ( XI) , the B acidity from Ti(SO4)2 is stronger than that from Ce(SO4)2. This is a chief reason why the catalyst activity of Ti(SO4)2 is higher than that of Ce(SO4)2.
