摘要
外语教学的最终目的是培养学生的跨文化交际能力,因此,在外语教学过程中跨文化导入的重要性是不容忽视的。英美影视作品是进行文化传播、培养学生跨文化交际能力的有效手段。近年来,随着网络的发展、多媒体的广泛运用,英语原版影视片辅助大学英语教学便成为了可能。经典的英语原版电影以其地道的语言、丰富的文化内涵,为以英语为第二语言的教学营造了真实的语言环境。它不仅有助于学生听力水平的提高,而且还能培养学生的跨文化意识,增强学生的跨文化交际能力。
It has been generally acknowledged that the ultimate goal of foreign language teaching is the cultivation of students＇ in- tercuhural communicative competence. With more and more importance being attached to it, the traditional way of language teaching has been challenged with emphasis on intercultural input. English movies in the original are effective means of spreading cultures and de- veloping students＇ intercultural communicative competence. In recent years, with the development of networks and the application of multi -medias,it has become possible that English movies supplement college English teaching. Classic movies can build a real lan- guage surrounding for English teaching as a second language with its idiomatic language and rich cultural connotations, which can not only help to improve students＇ listening comprehension, but also raise their intercultural awareness and enhance their intercultural com- municative competence.
