摘要
本文通过对六组不同知识分子关于文学的看法或是文学史的勾勒,说明了"现代中国文学理念多重缘起"的看法以及由此所衍生的辩证意义。该观点试图重申中国文学永远不必定为一尊,其发生发展乃是诸般合力所致的见解。所谓"多重"其所见证的不仅是同时代不同观念间的众声喧哗与龃龉对话,同时也是不同时空语境下,东西话语、过去之我与现在之我、前驱与后学之间的借鉴、增益、证明、赓续,甚至于反叛。惟其如此,我们才能在这个所谓的"全球化"时代,在面临西方文学文化理论的强压之下,懂得使用什么样的话语来回应西方学界或是广义的东西方学界的不同挑战。
This paper has expounded the view of "multiple origins of modem Chinese literary ideas" and its consequential dialectical value through the analysis of different views upon literature and the ac- counts of literary history among six groups of intellectuals. The author attempts to restate the notion that Chinese literature is not invariable, its emergence and evolution is the result of multiple forces. The "multiplicity" does not only refer to the synchronic difference of views but also the diachronic difference between Western and Eastem discourses, the old me and the present me, the inheritance, amplification, proof, extension or even refutation between the pioneers and their followers. Only in this way, can we be capable of responding to the challenges raised by the Western literary circle or rather in a broad sense, the Eastern and Western literary circles with appropriate discourses facing the towering dominance of Western literary and cultural theories in this age of globalization.
