Biocycloheptane[2.2.1] dicarboxylate and biocyclo[2.2.2]heptane dicarboxylate salts are very important dispersive-type nucleating agents for polypropylene（PP）,and HPN-68 is one of the most outstanding commercial products.Such nucleating agent can increase the crystallization temperature of and keep PP isotropic shrinkage.The structures,preparation methods,and uses in PP were reviewed in detail.
