薪酬差距、企业绩效与晋升机制--高管薪酬锦标赛的再检验 被引量:39

摘要 本文利用2005至2008年中国沪深A股上市公司36450条高管薪酬数据,检验了高管薪酬锦标赛在中国企业中的存在性和激励性。研究发现:中国上市公司中的高管薪酬锦标赛机制是存在的,但其存在形态和激励效果与西方企业明显不同。从存在形态看,中国公司高管团队内薪酬差距受控股股东性质这样的外生性因素影响较大;从激励效果看,中国公司高管团队内薪酬差距与企业绩效负相关,这种负向关系在有非内部晋升机制的企业中更明显,在有纯内部晋升机制的企业中则不显著。研究结果说明,如果期望高管薪酬产生较好的激励作用,必须建立能将真正具备企业经营管理能力的管理者从企业内甄选出来的机制。
