【Objective】 Our study aimed to the relationship between the prevalence of CD44+/CD24-cells in breast cancer and the distant metastasis, and also the clinical data.【Methods】 We identified CD44+/CD24-cells by double-staining immunohistochemistry technique. We calculate and got the information of relationship of relationship between the prevalence of CD44+/CD24-cells in breast cancer and distant metastasis, and also the clinical data.【Results】 So the difference between the prevalence of CD44+/CD24-cells in breast cancer and the metastasis is significant. The difference of prevalence of CD44+/CD24-cells in breast cancer in osseous metastasis is significant.【Conclusion】 The prevalence of CD44+/CD24-cells in breast cancer is associated with distant metastasis, specially with osseous metastasis, but not with histology, tumor size, nodal status,TNM stage, menopausal status,ER,PR,or Her-2.
