摘要
大学英语教学是高等教育的一个有机组成部分,目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力。大学英语课程不仅是一门语言基础课程,也是拓宽知识、了解世界文化的素质教育课程。在大学英语教学中,充分发掘双语教学与翻译法之优势,择善而取,优势互补,融会贯通,灵活运用,可以提高学生国际交流与合作能力,使其适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。
College English teaching is an integral part of higher education and its goal is to train students to have the capability in English language proficiency.College English course is not only the course of language foundation but also the course for quality education which is for the students to broaden the knowledge and to comprehend the world cultures.In college English teaching,we should fully exploit the advantages of bilingual education and translation method.We should make full and flexible use of the advantages of both in order to improve the ability of the students in international communication and cooperation.And we should enable them to adjust to our social development and international exchange.
