The Sinopec Corp. has signed with the Shandong Longli Biological Technology Co., Ltd. of Yuchen city an cooperative agreement on cellulose ethanol production, confirming that Sinopec Corp. will designate the Shandong Longli Co. as the certified national unit for manufacture of fuel ethanol. The feedstock for manufacture of fuel ethanol is the waste residue obtained in the process of sugar production at functional sugar enterprises of Yuchen city, Shandong province.
