摘要
Curcumin exerts a protective effect on hippocampal neurons of rats. In addition, the protective effect of curcumin involves prevention of the rapid Ca^2+ influx induced by interleukin-6, which maintains Ca^2+ homeostasis. This image shows many axons, dendrites and secondary branches stretching from cell bodies after intervention with curcumin and interleukin 6, and the arrow indicates the axons, dendrites and secondary branches from cell bodies.
