摘要
针对应用于环境监测领域的无线传感器网络(Wireless Sensor Network-WSN)所监测到的数据基本不变或变化很慢的特点,提出了一种差分编码数据压缩算法。该算法的核心思想是根据上一包的内容得到本包信息,适用于没有丢包现象的网络。但是在WSN中由于通信不稳定常存在丢包现象,为此对WSN的路由协议作了改进,使这种数据压缩技术能够被应用。该算法编解码简单,在计算能力有限的传感器节点中能很容易地实现。通过分析和实验,表明该算法可以很好地提高网络寿命。
Because the data detected in environment monitoring Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) has the characteristic of not changing or changing slowly,this paper proposed a difference compress algorithm.In this algorithm,the data of one packet will be obtained according to the last packet.It fit the network without data loss.But WSN has the probable of data loss because of the unstable wireless communication.So,the routing protocol of WSN has been changed to enable the algorithm to be used in WSN.The easy encoding and decoding enable this algorithm used in WSN with limited computing ability.Analysis and experiment show this algorithm could prolong the network life better.
